The Cooperativa Paleotur has worked since many years to promote and protect the Archeological site of the Nuraghe Losa, one of the most important monuments from the Bronze Age in Sardinia, the age of the ancient Mediterranean civilizations (1600 – 1200 b.C.).
You can visit the Nuraghe Losa each day of the year. At the ticket office you can buy your ticket which allows you into the Nuraghe Losa site and the museum inside the area.
Our guides can give you information about the archaeological site and you can book a guided tour in Italian, Sardo, English or French.
It is possible to book workshops for children and adults or guided tours in the surroundings.
Night-time guided tours are available in summertime.
In the snack bar area you can drink a good Italian coffee, have a drink or a sandwich.
The small bookshop is specialized in books about the Nuragic period and the history of Sardinia. Souvenirs are also available.
The cooperativa Paleotur periodically works on cultural promotion both organizing and cooperating with other companies.
It manages and promotes the Permanent Exhibition of models of Nuraghes at the Casa Marceddu in Norbello with a didactic and educational path. Pre booking required for visit and guided tours.
It manages the META, Ethnografic Museum in Abbasanta located in the Aragonese houses built in between the end of 1500 and the beginning of 1600. Opening by reservation.
It manages the Archaeological Exhibition of Su Monte in Sorradile (open on Saturdays and Sundays) and the archaeological site of Su Monte (visit by reservation).
