Educational workshops and activities at the Nuraghe Losa
The Archaeological Parc of the Nuraghe Losa opens every day of the year from 9 a.m. until one hour before the sunset.
The Cooperativa Paleotur has offered since many years educational workshops for children (Preschool, Primary and Secondary schools) and adults, focusing its attention on Sardinian prehistory related themes. Workshops are held by our Learning Team consisting of education specialists who have worked together to create an immersive, learning experience. Activities take place at the Nuraghe Losa, at the META Museum in Abbasanta, at Casa Marceddu in Norbello and at the Archaeological Exhibition and site of Su Monte in Sorradile.
Every workshop includes a theoretical part and a practical one to help the participants to create a contact between them and the local history and tradition. Discovering Sardinia means to us, knowing its culture, tradition and products that make our Island unique. Discovering the materials, the tools and the places of our ancestors daily life helps to get in touch with the past of our land.
Educational goals and objectives: cooperate with schools to improve creativity, fantasy and dexterity engaging learning experiences;
- To improve the sense of civic-duty and make the museum become a tool for permanent education;
- To reinforce the feeling of belonging, using the museum as an instrument to increase social and individual interest and collective growth;
- To let archaeological sites and museums lively, cozy and hospitable places to visit more and more.
